Dr. Beth Shoaff is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in Sport and Performance Psychology. She obtained her Doctorate and Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee Student Counseling Center.

Dr. Shoaff began her career nearly a decade ago as a performance enhancement coach, working with college student-athletes in both individual and group settings. During her time in the university environment, she served as part of an interdisciplinary sports medicine team, providing both performance and mental health support to student-athletes. She also collaborated with coaches and staff to deepen their understanding of the psychological aspects of athletic performance.

Over the years, her work has expanded to include athletes from professional, collegiate, and youth sports. This wide range of experience has given her a deep appreciation for the unique mental challenges that come with competing at every level. Dr. Shoaff uses evidence-based strategies along with her understanding of the athlete experience to help clients build confidence, consistency, and resilience—both in and out of competition. In addition to her individual work, Dr. Shoaff has also developed a speaker series for youth athletic programs and schools which highlights performance skill work as well as important mental health messages.

Today, Dr. Shoaff continues her clinical and performance work as the lead sport psychologist with Fishbein Performance Group, helping athletes develop the skills they need to succeed on and off the field. She believes that when athletes strengthen their mental game, they not only perform better but also find greater motivation, balance, and fulfillment in life. Her passion is helping people feel, play, and live their best.
