About Dafna Aaronson, M.A.

Dafna Aaronson earned her Masters in Sports Psychology in 2016 and has provisional AASP (American Association of Sport Psychology) certification from John F. Kennedy University.

Dafna received her Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering and Management concentration from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also was a member of the Women’s Varsity Track and Field team.

After graduation, Dafna worked at Deutsche Bank, New York. Within her role as an HR Analytics global project manager she designed and collaborated on worldwide quantitative and qualitative employee data analysis. She continued running competitively, completing the Marine Corps Marathon (1999) and Boston Marathon (2001), as well as numerous road races.

Originally from Highland Park, Dafna grew up participating and competing in numerous sports, earning Varsity letter and Scholar-Athlete recognition for Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track and Field. Named “Female Athlete of the Year,” and her cross country jersey retired, Dafna graduated with records in multiple sports, and her mile time currently stands as the fastest in school history.

Dafna’s practice focuses on performance psychology, working primarily with high achievers. Some areas of specialty include maximizing individual and team performance, leadership, decision-making, performance under pressure, individual and organizational transformation. Combining sports science and psychology sets the foundation for her compassionate approach to building a relationship with teams and athletes, emphasizing the whole person. “Building awareness yields information we combine with my resources to create knowledge and transform performance.” She has worked with 10U boy’s travel baseball team ranked top 5 in the nation, Deerfield High School Men’s High School Golf team, and the Division III Lake Forest College’s Men’s Basketball Team.
